Hi there,
Thanks for putting logahead to my radar.I got a question about Logahead. I am asking you because I can't find the answer at that website.

Can you tell me, how can I use Logahead. I am using Blogger.com right now. It seems I might need to open a WP account to use it.

Can you give me a step by step answer to use it?

[...] Today we have seen the launch of a really nice “blogger phone”. I’ve been testing out Measure Map for a month or so and would consider this a next generation blogger tool. I’ve also been testing out BlogBeat, another metrics program that I’m super happy with. Seems like Next Generation Blogging tools is all the rage. Wordpress 3.0 is probably in the works. However, Logahead is a next generation blogging tool for a number of reasons. I spent last night testing it out. Rachel from Cr8d Design has a much better review than I could give because its much more simple. I would go on and on about the PHP and how the code lays out. But let’s not bother. Let’s talk usability. Something she knows a thing or two about. * Easy to add and edit everything inline, rather than going into an admin area. * Simple to organise the sidebar content. Reminds me of how Typepad made it simpler than MovableType to organise the sidebar by moving sections up and down but this makes it far simpler again by allowing you to drag and drop sidebar content. No coding involved. * Built in tagging and tag clouds. No plugins necessary. [...]

I think the fact that third party developers have to create plugins for wordpress to get it to work how they would like speaks volumes about how good a platform wordpress really is (out of the box)... I know that it's only possible due to the WP API and the fact that it is an easy platform upon which to develop, but we shouldn't have to... Then again the same could be said about Firefox and its extensions capabilities...

I'm very excited about Logahead... I think that this is exactly what wordpress, six apart et al need... A kick up the ass to demonstrate that a blogging system can be functional... It isn't entirely about ubiquity...

I'm looking forward to seeing how logahead develops... Now if only permalinks took the form of human friendly URLs with a little mod_rewrite magic...
