		<description>Yes, I agree, it seems when the internet was fresh we could all take the time to type but now often we just like or retweet.  I think that rss-readers effected commenting too - I often just read a post in bloglines and don&#039;t end up clicking through.</description>

I do that a lot on Facebook and while it&#039;s a nice acknowledgment that someone has seen what I&#039;ve posted on there, I often wish I knew *why* they liked it, or their thinking/reaction.  But the flipside is, if it&#039;s not so easy (typing vs a quick click), there&#039;s less people likely to respond &quot;aloud&quot;.</description>
