And I’m back

Just got back from having an awesome holiday hiking down in Abel Tasman National Park - see my Flickrset for snapshots.
Some numbers:
- Walked about 45km
- Owner of about 50 sandfly/mosquito bites
- Have zero blisters (yippee)
- Am 10x browner than I was
- Am 2x fitter than I was
- Saw 2 Orcas
- Saw about 12 seals
- Spotted about 16 stingrays, including 1 right in front of me in the water
- Crossed about 5 estuaries and rivers
- Went over one big swing bridge
- Had one large crab flicked on my face
- Sat behind the one and only Dave Dobbyn on the plane down to Nelson
- Took about 180 photos
- and…behind on approximately 500 emails, 50 RSS feeds, and 15 blog post ideas
I’ve been in Heaphy Trek last year, almost the same period of the year, during my honeymoon.
I envy you, I love NZ, and I love trekking.
