Faded sky design - coincidence?
March 15, 2006
I thought my mind was playing tricks on me but no, it’s two different (new) sites each with a similar design (check out the sites - Bloggy Network and CSS Elite - for the full effect):
Coincidence or not?

oooh - i wonder which was first!

i think that’s not an unique idea, Coincidence!!
— Stephan L., March 15, 2006
oooooh. busted.
but which one?
by the way, I don’t know if you wrote a post about this, and if you did I missed it, but what’s the thinking/logic behind putting the comment form on top of the name/e-mail/website form?

Its all cloudy to me

Jesse - thanks for reminding me. I wrote a post the other day about it but accidentally closed the window and lost it. I’ll rewrite the post

i say coincidence. different cloud formations… it’s springtime. you have to expect most sites adopting some sort of open sky image into the design.

I wish it were springtime where I live.

I’d say it was coincidence. Blue skies like that are so common too. And the design is unique enough to warrant being a coincidence rather than a bust.

I agree Donna - it seems like a coincidence to me - just funny that they both came out just recently.

Coincidence—and in a court of law, totally different.

“The copy this from there, add that from here and make a clone, but not clone enough” seems to be a moto in this Web2.0 series.
I am pretty sure we will more of those in the days to come.
— George Papadakis, March 21, 2006
Just noticed this post. I’m going to have to go with coincidence
— Jacob, March 23, 2006
Well…i just saw csselite for the first time. Just a simple coincidence.
I’am the one who made the design.
