Bizarre

I received a very bizarre email this morning notifying me that their old blog appeared to have been hacked and some of my blog’s template was appearing at the top of another person’s blog.
Check it out » (it still appears to be there as of writing this post). I’ve never seen the blog before and it seems the most bizarre type of hacking that someone has done.
I’ve had people stealing my site’s design before a couple of times, but never seen something like this. Have any of you come across a similar scenario? Any plausible reason for it?
I’ve asked the site owner to remove my content as soon as possible.
Looks like someone tried to steal your theme by just pasting part of the source code from your site into their theme. Very strange.

Yeah, that’s insane. Maybe somebody who has no clue whatsoever? It’s just cut and paste. Weird indeed

Perhaps they’re using your template to eventually make their own site, but just haven’t gotten around to changing much of it yet. It’s pretty bizarre that they would leave the name, link and content all the same, though. Maybe they gave up.

Hi ! I am the owner of the site. It seems that it had been hacked (someone told me it could be some kind of “defacement”). I just managed to handle this but I had to completely re-install wordpress…
