Extracting honey

There’s something magical about honey. We have four hives on our farm and throughout summer, we extract delicious honey.

The amazing thing is that the honey tastes and looks different every single time. It’s dependent on the flowers which were in season that the bees took nectar from. Sometimes the honey is very clear, light and has a mild citrus taste to it. Other times it’s dark, rich and full of flavour. Or it might be thick, cloudy and similar to store-bought clover honey.
