We offer a very personalized and tailored service with both design and development. Each project is done completely from scratch in close consultation with you and is not a generic pre-built template. Our WordPress themes are not re-sold to other clients.
Project package pricing includes: consulting, research, original design, standards-compliant HTML5/CSS coding, custom responsive theme development, WordPress installation and set-up, plugins installation and set-up, thorough instructions for updating your site, training and personal on-going support.
The process begins with you completing our design survey and a call to discuss the project and ensure we’re a good fit. Next, we’ll create a comprehensive proposal.
If you proceed, you’ll sign the contract and pay the deposit. We’ll then schedule your kick-off date, usually within two months.
You and your team will receive logins for Basecamp, our project management tool, where you can access designs, messages, tasks, and milestones. You’ll also get email copies of all updates. Basecamp serves as a permanent archive, helpful for lost emails, onboarding new team members, or referencing past discussions.
You’ll have some initial tasks, like providing logins, information, and content. To ensure efficiency, we require all content before project kick-off. Your timely feedback and information is essential. Building a successful site is a collaborative effort.
We’ll have a call to meet your team, clarify roles, discuss any remaining onboarding tasks, and answer your questions. Call notes will be added to Basecamp, as will notes from other meetings.
We work with you to refine project goals and determine key actions for your website visitors. Key performance indicators will align with these goals. After researching your brand and audience, we review all essential project information and make recommendations on presenting key messages effectively. We consider SEO, mobile, usability, and accessibility to create a design that looks great and supports your business objectives.
This phase takes about a week.
For branding projects, you’ll complete a worksheet and have a call to discuss brand attributes. We research your industry, create a branding statement, and provide up to three logo concepts with unlimited revisions.
We finalize your sitemap, user navigation, and key actions. We start with wireframes to ensure all necessary elements for a clear, engaging user experience. Next, we add design elements like fonts, colors, and graphics to align with your brand. Templates and style libraries are revised until final approval.
This phase takes 4-6 weeks without branding, 6-10 weeks with branding.
We create a custom WordPress Gutenberg theme from scratch — lightweight, fast, mobile-friendly, search-optimized, and easy to update. We handle WordPress setup, plugin installation, content migration, and rigorous testing across devices and browsers to ensure full responsiveness and functionality.
You’ll receive a password-protected link to review the site and a comprehensive user guide.
This phase takes about 4-6 weeks.
After your approval and final payment, we’ll schedule the site to go live at a mutually agreed time.
